We’ve been wearing rainbow socks on stage for 20 years—naming the show after them just felt right. It’s a nod to the songs, the shows, and the community that’s been with us from the start
In just seven days, we filmed five full episodes—it was wild, surreal, and totally new territory for us. There were about 28 more people than we’re used to—wearing headsets, keeping us caffeinated during early call times, and helping us in and out of costumes. We’re beyond grateful for the incredibly talented team who brought our vision to life in ways we never could have imagined.
Authentically “Jeff & Paige”
By producing the show ourselves, we get to keep all the quirky, theatre charm that makes Jeff & Paige special—the original music, the playful skits, and characters brought to life with homemade costumes instead of someone making us AI. This also gives us the chance to pitch the show nationally and find sponsors for future seasons.
One of the most exciting parts of this project has been getting to share the stage with our incredibly talented co-star—Shaun Derik! When we sent out a casting call for a third member of the Rainbow Socks Rangers, we never could’ve imagined finding someone as wonderful, funny, and heartfelt as Shaun
With his background in acting, music, and storytelling, he brings a whole new layer of heart, humor, and magic to Rainbow Socks.
He stepped up to the challenge of finding new voices for animals and characters, dancing, singing, and all of it with a kind, sweet humbleness that we adore.
He seamlessly integrated into our 20 year working partnership, and has become a deep and true friend forever!
An Opportunity to Make a Lasting Impact!
Filming our first season where we live was really important to us—and to our incredible producing and directoring team of Dia Sokol Savage and Dana Romanoff, who also call this area home. Boulder County families will enjoy recognizing and identifying many of the locations where this was filmed!
Rainbow Socks is our love letter to curiosity, friendship, wild imaginations, and the great outdoors—marking the next chapter in the Jeff & Paige story. We’re beyond excited to keep sharing it with you. The footage is now in the hands of our incredible editors and post-production team, and we’re aiming for it to air in the fall.
