MEADOW MUSIC IS OUR AWARD WINNING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR EVENTS! SUMMER OF 2021 MARKS ITS 17TH ANNIVERSARY!
What to expect this year?
As always, our shows will be science and nature-focused with quick costume changes and loads of audience participation. And as always our summer series is free and open to the public thanks to the generosity of our beloved City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks Department. But this summer's offerings will be at a different venue (not a meadow at all in fact!) and include a registration system.
*Limited attendance - We'll open registration a week or two in advance for each of our 5-6 free, summer shows. Max 5 people/reservation.
*If you can't attend please cancel your reservation to make sure that your spot can be made available to our waiting list. Alternatively you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Gates open 30 min. prior and close 30 min. after. Might we recommend bringing a picnic and enjoying it in the park post-show?
*You'll simply give your name at the gate. No need to print your registration confirmation or show us your e-reservation.
*Concert will last 1 hr. and includes original science and nature-based kids' music, educational skits, quick costume changes and loads of audience interaction/participation.
*COVID comfort levels, distancing, masking, etc. are up to each individual family. There is space so take space if you need it. Kids are welcome to come up to the front and dance with grown up permission.
The infrastructure and use of the venue for this event is provided free of charge by the City of Boulder's Arts in the Park series. Boulder’s Arts in the Park provides arts and cultural performances at the Glen Huntington Bandshell in Boulder’s Civic Area. The program runs from May to September. Presented by the City of Boulder and sponsored by the PLAY Boulder Foundation, the Boulder Library Foundation, and the Downtown Boulder Partnership.
