"Congrats on a fabulous performance- Jeff and Paige! So creative, such catchy tunes as always! We just loved it! Actually, in my humble opinion, the best CD ever!" ~ Karen Franklin, Mom.
"Paige and Jeff, I do not have enough words to describe how much we loved the show today...brilliant, beyond creative, incredibly impactful...those barely express the masterpiece that you produced! We so loved seeing you up there doing what you do best- educating, inspiring, and evoking smiles galore…please know we are still grinning from ear to ear, in awe, and singing 21st Century Energy Superheroes. Believe me, the Myers family is pressing play! LOVE the new tunes and the story is out of this world!" ~Katie Doyle Meyers, Director of Programs for Philanthropiece & Mom.
"I cannot tell you how impressed I am with CD number 3. It is so excellent! I adore that you figured out how to illustrate climate change with my new favorite song--invisible blanket!? Fabulous. Eat local, solar, wind, cycling, science...I may weep. Really I love it and I love you guys for making it all so appealing!"~Mary Pettigrew, Graphic Designer-Ampersand Designs, & Mom.
"If there are any other kids who are even half as enthusiastic as Cecil about your new C.D. (which I know there are!) you two have gone a LLLOOOOONGGGG way to making very positive change!! In less than a day, he not only has all of the songs memorized, but is honestly grasping concepts about fossil fuels that are blowing me away. He reminded me to turn something off tonight before bed, and on my way out, I called him an energy super hero, and he was SO proud." ~Ghita Carroll, BVSD Sustainability Coordinator, & Mom.
Hi Paige and Jeff, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Well, you've truly outdone yourselves this time! The concert was phenomenally educational while being fabulously fun! And as always, the music was fantastic. You've always had a knack for weaving the songs together with a great story, but this one topped them all. I'm so grateful to you and your friends for this great, educational art that you're pouring out to all our children.(and the grown-ups. Seriously, I may be the biggest fan in the whole family) As I mentioned to you Andy's a climate scientist and he studies CO2 in the atmosphere and ocean. He LOVED the show! He was pretty jazzed to see what a great job you did explaining the science end, complete with guitar solos. Thank you for focusing on the sustainable energy issue, and doing it in such an inspiring way. The CD was on in our kitchen this morning by 7 am. Know that you have four aspiring energy superheroes at our house. We biked to the concert, and it was quite a feat getting the kids up the hills to Chautauqua. ~ Jean Bucci, Mom
About Cd's One & Two-- Rocky Mountain Tunes & Songs From the Trail:
“Great performance the other night. I have never seen anything quite like it, yet it seemed classical and felt so right. Besides the antics of all the little squirts in the audience, I saw plenty of parents loosening up as well—hard workin’ Dads doing the mashed potato, overbearing Moms losing themselves in the silliness… what an interesting symbiosis between performers and audience.”~James Callendar, from the Boulder Daily Camera after attending the CD release concert for Songs From the Trail
“We are now obsessed with all things prairie and Celia (4-1/2 year-old daughter) spent a good chunk of the day yesterday making a prairie scene poster complete with waving prairie grass! She then gave a presentation to her 9-month-old brother on the various animals of the prairie. So cool!” ~Jennifer, in Boulder, CO
“In August, I purchased your CDs to send to my niece and nephew (ages 5 & 7) in Cambridge MA and for my niece (age 7) in Seattle. Subsequently, we were all together at a wedding in Seattle on Labor Day weekend. Right away, the children (including my 3-year old daughter, Marina) figured out they all knew the same songs—your songs—and burst into an impromptu concert. They had all only had the CD for one month and they knew ALL the lyrics. It was really amazing. Even the parents were singing along.” ~Margo in Boulder, CO
“Excellent! You take a great deep concept, but present it simply (and I mean that in the most flattering way). Each item and word had a purpose—yet you add your wit and eager personality. Well it was just EASY and FUN to grasp and learn while being totally entertained!” ~Diana Johns Board Member, Arts and Children Together, Marshalltown, IA
"'Songs From the Trail' is by far the CD my kids most often ask for in the car. They are singing and laughing and learning all at the same time. And it's great for adults, too. Sometimes I'll be going somewhere without the kids, and after several miles of driving I realize that I'm happily singing along with Jeff's CD!" ~Michelle, Oak Park, IL
"You and Paige are both so wonderful and full of life and joy. Thank you for who you are and for presenting Chautauqua with such an incredible program. You put a lot of hard work into that production and it was such a great show. I can't wait to work together again soon." ~Julie Pomerantz, Public Events Manager, Chautauqua Auditorium Boulder, CO
"Just wanted you to know you have HUGE fans out in New Jersey." ~A dad from New Jersey
"I love listening to your CDs and I loved the concert! We also sing your songs all the time. And it's fun to dance to them. I loved how the concert was all about Paige the Honeybee. I also loved Paige's costume. Oh, and were those your friends playing on the stage, too? I love your music. My mom, dad, sister, and friends love it too. I hope I'll see you around town sometime!" Sincerely,Julia, age 7
